About Forge.
We bring clarity and structure to the decisions that shape a business.
Forge was built on the belief that good businesses are not driven by numbers alone, but by the decisions behind them. Since 1988, we’ve worked alongside businesses to provide the clarity, discipline, and guidance needed to move forward with confidence - not just in the moment, but over the long term.
We take the time to understand how your business is built: the people, the processes, and the pressures that come with it.
From there, we bring structure to complexity, helping you make clear, considered decisions that strengthen your position over time.
This is not about quick fixes or reactive advice. It’s about building something that holds - through steady progress, disciplined thinking, and a focus on long-term outcomes.
Our Values
These values have shaped the way we work, supporting strong, long-term relationships with local businesses.
Communication
Clear communication is the first response. We prioritise direct, considered, and practical conversations - speaking plainly, listening closely, and ensuring nothing is lost in complexity.
No Silos
Our clients are supported by the practice as a whole. We work as one team, drawing on a broad range of skills and perspectives to deliver well-rounded, consistent outcomes.
Embrace Challenges
We approach challenges with intent. We don’t avoid complexity or delay decisions. We engage early, work through it, and focus on moving forward with clarity.
Constantly Innovate
We are committed to refining how we work. By continually improving our systems, thinking, and approach, we ensure our clients benefit from stronger, more effective outcomes over time.
Practice What We Preach
We apply the same discipline internally as we do for our clients. Every process, tool, and approach is tested and proven before it becomes part of how we work.
Act with Honesty and Integrity
We act with honesty, transparency, and accountability. What we say, we stand by - ensuring our clients can rely on us with confidence.

Sam Wright
Sam joined Ambrosiussen The Business Accountants in May 2007, starting with work experience before working his way through the business to become a proud Partner of the practice. Over the years, the role has given him the opportunity to make a genuine impact in the lives of family businesses and not-for-profits alike.
He holds a dual degree in Business and Commerce from UniSQ Toowoomba, graduating with Distinction and several academic awards. Sam has also completed the CPA Program, holds a CPA Public Practice Certificate, and was recently recognised as a Fellow CPA (FCPA). Alongside this, he is a registered Tax Agent, holds a Master of Business Administration from UniSQ where he graduated as Valedictorian, and has completed the Company Directors Course through the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Sam is passionate about helping small businesses grow in a way that improves not only the bottom line, but the lifestyle behind it.
Outside of work, he values strong community connections and actively volunteers his time through organisations such as the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce, where he served as a Board Member for almost a decade. Away from the office, you’ll usually find him spending time with his wife and three children, fitting in a round of golf, or backing the Brisbane Broncos.
Tania Collie
Tania definitely gets a buzz out of helping small business owners achieve their personal and business goals and aspirations. When she is not working she is spending time with her four children and husband, with most of that time spent on the sideline of a rugby league game. She enjoys spending her downtime in the garden.
Tania joined the Ambrosiussen team in March 2016 and became a Partner in the practice in 2023. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance, at UniSQ Toowoomba before returning home to Roma to begin her career in public accounting.
After seven years in the industry, Tania stepped into running a family earthmoving business in Condamine, giving her firsthand experience in the realities of small business ownership. In 2015, she relocated to Toowoomba for her children’s schooling and returned to accounting, where her passion has always been. She has since completed her CPA and holds a Public Practice Certificate.
Tania thrives on helping small business owners work towards both their business goals and the life they want outside of work.
